Blue Vinyl Board & Batten Siding Installation in Guelph
This Nottingham project in Guelph received a major exterior transformation with extensive stucco removal, new blue vinyl board and batten siding, upgraded soffit, fascia and eavestroughs, and detailed custom aluminum work throughout the home.
A large portion of the original exterior had to be stripped back before the new siding system could be installed. Once the old stucco was removed, the exterior could be properly prepared for the new vertical siding and finished roofline details.

Extensive Stucco Removal in Guelph
One of the largest parts of this project was removing the existing stucco from the home.
Large areas of the exterior had to be stripped back to expose the wall surface beneath and prepare the house for the new siding system.
Stucco removal can be a labour-intensive part of an exterior renovation, especially when the goal is to transition the home to a completely different cladding system.
Exterior Preparation After Stucco Removal
Each opening was properly integrated into the new wall assembly with attention to flashing, weather protection, insulation, and exterior finishing.
Allows the entire exterior system to be properly tied together.
Custom Front Porch Construction in Guelph
A custom front porch was incorporated into the renovation to further transform the entrance and overall appearance of the home.
The porch was designed to work with the new board and batten exterior rather than looking like a separate addition.
Its proportions, exterior finishes and trim details were coordinated with the siding and roofline to create a more substantial and finished front elevation.
Adding the porch helped give the renovated exterior additional depth, character and curb appeal while creating a more defined entrance to the home.
Vinyl Board & Batten Siding Replacement in Guelph
The home was finished with new blue vinyl board and batten siding to completely change the appearance of the exterior.
The vertical siding profile creates stronger architectural lines than traditional horizontal vinyl siding and gives the home a cleaner, more modern look.
The blue finish works especially well against the white roofline and trim details, creating a sharp contrast across the completed exterior.
Direct homeowner feedback; review
The pebble-dashed stucco on my 1880s era house was cracking & breaking. I had an image in my head of how the whole exterior could be redone but no clue how to bring that to fruition.
Austin was not only able to provide me with 3D renderings of what my house could look like but then brought that beautifully to life.
The crew were fantastic & made an extensive project much less intrusive than it might have otherwise been. I am so please with how everything turned out!
